Three Things a Believer is Not Reckoned For

Hadith of the Day is a daily feature highlighting timeless sayings of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and the Ahlul-Bayt (pbut), offering insights into faith, ethics, and spirituality for contemporary life.

Hawzah News Agency- Muhammad ibn al-Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from Sa’d ibn Abd Allah who narrated from Ya’qub ibn Yazid, from al-Hasan ibn Ali, from Ibn Ziyad, from al-Halabi, that Imam Sadiq (pbuh) said:

There are three things for which Allah will not hold the believer accountable: food that he eats, a garment that he wears, and a righteous wife who helps him and protects his chastity.
